The easy guide to accessing care and support in Scotland

If you want to find out how to access care and support, you are in the right place. You might be looking for support for yourself, or a loved one.

This Handbook has been designed to help you navigate your journey to getting support. Sorting out support can be an intimidating process. It can sometimes be confusing, challenging or stressful. This Handbook aims to make it easier by guiding you through, step by step.

You might find it easier to read this Handbook in stages, or search for information about a specific issue. It may feel like a lot of information at once, so just take it at your own pace.

And please be reassured, there is lots of help available. We’ve included links to places you can get help every step of the way.
